One very enthusiastic TikTok user named Kristen Green was apparently left in shock after the balmy foundation covered her dark circles in just one sweep.
She began filming the video with no make-up on, then applied the foundation with a brush.
“I know ya’ll lying,” Kristen says, clearly impressed with the coverage. “Are you kidding me right now? It covers my dark circles.”
The clip has amassed over 2.7 million views, with many echoing her thoughts on the foundation.
“Dark circles? Say no more,” one fan said.
Olivia’s make-up artist Anna Lingis-Zavros posted a behind-the-scenes clip from the shoot, writing: “Now i understand why the @kvdbeauty Good Apple Foundation has gone viral.”
So what is all the hype about?
Available in 40 different shades, the foundation offers full-coverage with a matte effect.
While those with dry skin types often have to steer clear of mattifying formulas, KVD Beauty’s newest launch is infused with hydrating ingredients and skin-smoothing apple extract – so dryness and a midday cakey-looking base shouldn’t be an issue.
